About Me

Hi there,

I am Finitha and welcome to my book blog. I started it way back on 2012, tired of waiting for my final year results. Ever since, this space has been my constant companion, my secret joy and pride.

It started off as a summary blog for my friends. They used to check my reading diary, where I write down the stories of books I have finished, before embarking on any English lit projects. It is always good to know the story before adding a specific book for a dissertation work. I do try to focus on works whose plot line is not available on Wikipedia.

Now I have expanded my original goal a bit by reviewing new books and participating in blog tours where I resist from including a plot summary. Though my teaching job prevents me from posting regularly, the blog is never ignored, probably because I can't be away from books much long 😉

If you have a book you would like me to review, feel free to contact me through finithajose@gmail.com

I love reading Chick Lit, Romance, Historical Fiction and Fantasy.

  1. Hey Finitha! I see you have lot of reviews of Indian authors. I would like to add one such fantasy novel by an Indian author that must include to your list. Its titled Inkredia. INKREDIA Luwan of Brida by Sarang Mahajan is the first book of the INKREDIA series. The series revolve around the lives of Luwan and Meg who are siblings. The first book explores their journey from Brida to the first stop of a bigger destiny that they need to fulfil. Luwan has to run from Brida because he has refused to pay tax to Lord Gruwak, the Lord of Brida. His sister Meg cannot let him run alone so he accompanies him but while on their way to safety, they discover that dark creatures are on their chase. They have no idea why.
